Surrender

Christian Rock from Blue Ridge Georgia

Surrender hails from Blue Ridge Georgia and was founded in 2002 by brother’s Ricky and Randy Beach. Surrender's mission is to spread the word of Truth; that Jesus Christ himself is still alive and well, and sitting at the right hand of the Father and to reaching out to those who are lost and hurting, and in need of direction through their music.

The current line up consists of Randy Beach – Lead Guitar and Vocals, Ricky Beach – Bass Guitar, Eric Guthrie – Guitar and Vocals, Kyle Sosebee – Drums, and Tucker Guthrie – Guitar and Keyboards. Surrender features powerful lyrics, delivered with a pleasing southern drawl from lead singer Randy Beach, laid over solid bass lines often punctuated by crunching and tasteful guitar work. It’s hard not to draw comparisons with 80’s influenced southern rock, but the band remains steadfast upon delivering Christian based music with an informal down to earth flair. They have had the pleasure of working with noted producer Butch Walker, Nashville sound engineer Joel Huggins and have shared the stage with “Guardian,” “Holy Soldier,” “Julian Drive,” “White Cross” and many others. Surrender’s live shows have benefited from dedicated sound man Tom Waldron, who has handled the bands sound for many years. Surrender has been well received around the North Georgia area and they are often asked to play youth festivals and revivals. In addition, they have been recording music over the years for various projects but until recently they have not felt the pull to publish much of their music. They recently signed a licensing deal with Backyard Records, and have released their debut album “Turn up the Love” at the end of 2014. It’s currently available on iTunes as well as all other major internet retail outlets.
